Plot Synopsis

When Shane Gray, the lead singer of a pop group, needs to clean up his bad boy image his band mates send him off to a music camp as a guest instructor. He soon meets a teen girl with an explosive voice and a driving ambition to be a pop singer but she can't afford the expensive camp and must help her mom work in the mess hall between classes. She hides the truth of her circumstances in order to become part of the popular clique but eventually, with the help of Shane, she confront her fears and steps into the spotlight as her true self.
