Plot Synopsis

After spending several years in her Kentucky home raising her children while her husband Doug built his medical practice, Dr. Linda Peeno returns to the workforce in the highly lucrative world of HMO's. Ultimately, her work as a medical care reviewer proves unrewarding and her conscience and strong sense of ethics lead her to quit the profession and become a vocal crusader against the managed care industry...who put profits before patients.
