Plot Synopsis

Based on the novel by Debbie Macomber. Ashley Harrison is a beautiful, earthy, young woman who travels the country, selling her homemade crafts. En route to Seattle to see her mom for Christmas, she gets stranded at the San Francisco airport and is forced to accept a ride with Dash Sutherland, who has just rented the last car in town. Just out of a bad relationship, she is leery of ever falling in love again but she remains sunny and upbeat, which initially puts her at odds with the more cynical Dash. As they head north, their adventures include car trouble, adopting a puppy and being secretly tailed by federal agents, who believe Ashley is up to no good. Despite that, romance begins to blossom during the course of their journey -- but the fact that Ashley is a suspected enemy insurgent, while Dash is a secret FBI agent, may put a serious crimp in their relationship, at least for now.
