Plot Synopsis

First original TV movie for ASX TV. This telefilm brings one of the most infamous conspiracy theories to life, taking the legend of The King to new heights as it poses the question: "What if Elvis never really left the building?" Elvis, bored and past his prime and terrified that someone is out to kill him, is delighted at the opportunity to work as a secret agent for the FBI. Driven by a real desire to fight crime and in an attempt to make things right, Presley agrees to help the Feds by testifying against The Fraternity, a villainous crime syndicate. But when he gets in too deep with the mob and his daughter and father are threatened, he fakes his own death and begins a new life in Michigan, where he falls for a woman who promises to keep his secret. The premiere of this film coincided with the 39th anniversary of Presley's death on August 16, 1977.
