Plot Synopsis
Based on the book by Jon Krakauer. In 1996, two rival mountaineering guides team up to lead a group of climbers up Mount Everest. As they ascend the treacherous peak they struggle with oxygen starved air and icy rock faces. Almost near the summit, and farthest from the safety of their tents, they are hit by a powerful blizzard that left eight dead including Scott Fisher, one of the guides.
