Plot Synopsis
Avery Ford rose to fame playing a cowboy in the "Aim to Please" movie franchise, but his once-hot career is at a standstill and the only thing he's starring in now is a series of commercials for canned beans. When the opportunity comes along for a paid appearance at legendary bronc rider Casey Twain's failing dude ranch in Montana, his agent insists he takes the gig. Although he's earned his living playing a cowboy, this city slicker doesn't know the first thing about how to actually be one and, from the moment he arrives, it's clear he's in over his head. At first he feigns enthusiasm at spending time with his hosts and the fans who come to visit, but as the weekend progresses he surprisingly starts to take a shine to ranch life in addition to Casey's daughter, Heather. She's a natural beauty who can ride, rope, fix the truck, whip up a meal that'll knock your socks off -- there's nothing she can't do. Though miffed when she realizes he's a phony -- a city slicker who knows nothing about being a cowboy -- she can't help but like the well-meaning, bumbling Avery and she can't deny the chemistry she feels with him.
