Plot Synopsis

Emma Colvin is an accountant from New York who is heartbroken when her boyfriend leaves her just before their planned romantic getaway to Belgium for Valentine's Day. Convinced by a friend to cast aside her safe, predictable life and go alone on the trip, Emma gets involved in the adventure of a lifetime when her Belgian innkeeper, Marie introduces her to a renowned chocolatier, Luc Simon. Luc and his fellow chocolatiers are in the midst of a competition to create the most romantic chocolate in Belgium, just in time for the upcoming Belgian royal wedding. When Luc discovers Emma's creative kitchen skills, she quickly finds herself immersed in the competition and a budding romance begins to develop. However, just as the final judging approaches at the Valentine's Day Royal Ball, Emma's new friendship with another chocolatier, who is also Luc's biggest competition. When Luc sees them together, he feels betrayed and begins to pull back from showing Emma his true feelings. With the big event and final judging just hours away, Emma feels hurt by his actions and contemplates leaving everything behind and returning home. Thankfully, Marie convinces her to stay for the big event since she's put so much of herself into the competition. As the Belgian prince and his fiancee prepare to announce who will be named the Royal Chocolatier, Luc realizes he has one last chance to make a bold statement to win the heart of the woman he so clearly loves.
