Plot Synopsis

Desperate to cash in on his wife's insurance policy, a highly decorated Marine kills his wife. A Criminal Investigation Division investigator with a haunted past, is assigned to the case. Emotionally affected by the crime he passionately works with the victims grieving brother to solve the murder--even bending protocol along the way. Even though there are no leads he refuses to give up, eventually bringing down the commanding officer and uncovering the unlikely hit man--the Marine's mother.
