Plot Synopsis
Inspired by director/writer Sacha Gervasi's own experiences interviewing former "Fantasy Island" star Herve Villechaize shortly before the actor committed suicide in September of 1993. Danny Tate, a struggling journalist, strikes up an unlikely friendship with actor Herve Villechaize, the world's most famous knife-wielding French dwarf, as it unfolds over one wild night in Los Angeles -- an encounter that will have life-changing consequences for both.
