Plot Synopsis
Based on the 1947 play by Tennessee Wiliams. In the French Quarter of New Orleans, Blanche, an emotionally unstable southern belle, comes to stay with her sister Stella, who lives in a tenement with her brutish explosive husband Stanley. Having just lost he family home in Mississippi, she is now destitute--Stanley, however, thinks she is a troublemaker and sets out to destroy her fragile sanity.
