Plot Synopsis

When a wealthy septuagenarian can no longer take care of her large home or herself, one of her caregivers contacts her long-lost grandson to come take care of her. The ne'er-do-well young man, in debt to a loan shark, eagerly takes off for Texas hoping to leave his lender in the dust. Amid mutual suspicions, resentment and regret, the quick fix answer to both their problems raises sensitive issues about just how much they really know - and need - each other. They eventually discover the healing power of love and find the courage to forgive the past and embrace the present.
