Plot Synopsis

Kristina Kuzmic ambushes people from their everyday lives and takes them to her kitchen for an intervention in home cooking. In each 30-minute episode of this reality series, Kristina proves anyone can be a great cook, including: a mother, who loves to eat out, learns to make Mongolian beef and vegetable fried brown rice; a man, who spends more time in his mother's kitchen than his own, learns to make pistachio-crusted tilapia, goat cheese bruschetta and mocha bread pudding; a frozen-food fan learns to make spicy peanut butter chicken with basmati rice and molten chocolate lava cakes; a musician with no cooking confidence learns to make braised short ribs and sauteed sweet corn; a new mother-to-be learns to make asparagus salmon salad and guiltless chocolate mousse; and a restaurant addict learns to make mustard-crusted chicken and crispy Nutella cookies -- after learning how to use the stove. Kristina, who was born and raised in Croatia, has gone from being a jobless single mother on food stamps, and has turned her passion for cooking into her own TV series after being named a co-winner of the inaugural season of YOUR OWN SHOW: OPRAH'S SEARCH FOR THE NEXT TV STAR.
