Plot Synopsis
Narrated by Lil' Kim (Seasons 2 & 3) and Jeezy (Season 1), AMERICAN GANGSTER: TRAP QUEENS is a one-hour docuseries that explores the rise and fall of America's most notorious female criminals. With crimes ranging from million-dollar scams, to drug trafficking, to murder, these cautionary tales show the steep price paid for life in the game. Each episode focuses on a different criminal. Not only does the series portray captivating tales of notorious criminals, they are told by those who lived them -- The Queens themselves, their closest allies, family members, legal team members, reporters and law enforcement. AMERICAN GANGSTER: TRAP QUEENS debuted on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, as BET+ released the first five episodes, featuring Delrhonda "Big 50" Hood, "Bank Fraud Queen" Jamila T. Davis, Thelma Wright, Rashia Wilson and Shauna Barry-Scott. BET+ dropped the remaining five episodes on Thursday, January 9, 2020, highlighting the lives of Aisha Hall, Ayana Bean, Jean Brown, Charmaine Roman, and Jemeker Thompson. AMERICAN GANGSTER: TRAP QUEENS made its linear television debut on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at 9pm ET/PT on BET with a simulcast on BET Her. The series opener focuses on Jamila T. Davis (aka The Bank Fraud Queen), who is sent to prison for mortgage fraud.
The sophomore season of AMERICAN GANGSTER: TRAP QUEENS debuted on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT on BET+ with a new narrator: Lil' Kim. The front half of AGTQS2 tell the stories of Perrion Roberts, Brandi Davis, Dwen Curry, Tiffani Rose Peak and Shauntay Henderson, whose purported crimes range from grand larceny to bank and wire fraud and drug trafficking. Season 2 of AMERICAN GANGSTER: TRAP QUEENS made its linear television debut on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at 10pm ET/PT on BET, with a simulcast on BET Her.
The first five episodes of AMERICAN GANGSTER: TRAP QUEENS' third season dropped on Thursday, April 7, 2022 on BET+. Narrated by Lil' Kim, the true crime series returns with ten all-new episodes (five will be available on April 7; the remaining five will be released in June 2022). New episodes feature the stories of Kimberly Smedley, Candace Wilson, Gina Cabell, Shontel Greene, and Tonia Taylor -- whose crimes range from black market butt injections to dark web identity theft, opioid pill mills and drug trafficking.

New episodes feature: Sydia Bagley, a mother at a young age with a traumatic past who falls in love with a charismatic ringleader; Lonett Williams, a single mom who enters the real estate game and maker her DYNASTY-inspired millions with forged documents, fraudulent loans and kickbacks; Pam Driskel, whose desperate choice plunged her into the dangerous world of crack cocaine; Tracie Dickey, a charismatic pastor and so-called prophetess, who spins a web of fraud and abuse; and Demi 'Mimi' Harrison, whose own obsessive materialism led her into a life of deadly drug dealing, theft and fraud.
