Plot Synopsis

A team of specialists, including veterinarians and transport engineers, relocate wild animals from across the globe -- by air, sea, train and truck. The team moves: a herd of 80 elephants; two silvertip sharks from Cairns, Australia to Dubai; 20 racehorses; five black rhinos to a location 1,000 miles across Africa. In addition to the logistical nightmares and engineering problems of moving these creatures, this series uses CGI to peel away the animal's skin to explore its anatomy and explain the biological, psychological and engineering challenges of moving each living beast. Nat Geo Wild aired the U.S. premiere of ANIMAL MEGA MOVES on Monday, May 9, 2011 at 9pm ET with back-to-back episodes.
