Plot Synopsis

BAGGAGE ON THE ROAD is a half-hour dating game where one contestant chooses from three potential partners, all of whom come with their own quirky, annoying and sometimes truly shocking physical and emotional baggage that could eliminate them from the competition. With host Jerry Springer guiding the game, contestants are required to reveal various intimate secrets and hidden flaws -- housed inside literal suitcases -- that typically aren't revealed on a first date. Eventually, only one suitor wins a date with the contestant...as long as that person can also accept the contestant's baggage in a final role-reversal round. BAGGAGE ON THE ROAD is a 20-episode traveling version of GSN's series BAGGAGE, journeying to four locations in the show's first season: Austin, Texas; Tampa, Florida; Baton Rouge, Louisiana (at Louisiana State University); and Storrs, Connecticut (at University of Connecticut).
