Plot Synopsis

Hosted by Brandon Jenner with co-host Didi Benami, BANDED is a music competition series that reveals the process, work, and creativity behind breaking a band. In the series premiere, 25 contenders descend on Nashville Municipal Auditorium, where they perform solo before being placed into five new multi-genre bands under the tutelage of songwriters, producers, and artists such as Wendy Starland, Paul Ebersold, Steve Diamond, Justin Wilson, and Dave Pahanish. Each week features a roster of mentors and guest judges from across the music spectrum, including Vince Neil, Mark Schulman, Diarra Sylla & DJ Swivel in the series opener, as well as Kip Winger, Steve Azar, Kevin Lyman, and many others later in the competition. The inaugural season includes eight episodes, with six hour-long episodes bookended by the 90-minute season premiere and season finale. Plus, a video podcast accompanies each episode, as BANDED contestants and stars break down all the latest happenings from the show.

The bands are:

Silence the Static: Mic Smith (lead vocals), Billy Cox (lead guitar), Andrew Parrott (rhythm guitar), Pablo Falcon (bass), and Eli Haneca (drums)

Gamblers in the Neon: John Haywood (lead vocals), Corey Mac (lead guitar), Michael Simeon (rhythm guitar), Zack May (bass), and Isaac Velasquez (drums)

MonOKhrOMatix: Liahona Olayan (vocals), Ammon Olayan (guitar/vocals), Alicia Chase (guitar/vocals), Joela Oliver (bass), and Kelsey Cook (drums)

Honeysuckle Rose: Chris Shupe (lead vocals), Allie Sealey (lead vocals), Santiago Ordonez (lead guitar), Leo Roriz (bass), and Joey Castro (drums)

Starland: Jaclyn Kenyon (lead vocals), William James (lead guitar), Robert Mondoca (rhythm guitar), Sergio Cannata (bass), and Molly Rose (drums)
