Plot Synopsis

In each one-hour episode, host Mo Mandel travels to a different city, where two bar owners compete against each other to see who can turn the biggest profit. There's just one catch: they must run the other person's bar, where they make changes and try to win over new staff and customers. Each 60-minute program features two new bar owners swapping places in the same metro area, including: Baltimore, where former boxer and mixologist Jim Saufley (Frederick's on Fleet in Canton) goes up against free-pouring, free spirit Geoff Danek (Holy Frijoles in Hampden); and many more locations across the United States. On Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at 10pm ET/PT, truTV aired a sneak-peek episode of BARMAGEDDON, a little more than a month before the official series premiere on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at 10pm ET/PT. truTV premiered the second season of BARMAGEDDON on Monday, May 25, 2015 at 10pm ET/PT. Returning with even higher stakes, including a $10,000 grand prize, the Season 2 premiere, "Gossip Grill vs. Single Fin," sunny San Diego gets even hotter when Moe and the party girls at Gossip Grill take on Dominic and the surfer dudes at Single Fin.

On Monday, July 13, 2015 at 11pm ET/PT, truTV premiered the season finale of BARMAGEDDON. In the season ender, "Two Bits vs. 67 Orange Street (New York)," it's a tale of two New York Cities when Karl's fancy-cocktailed Harlem speakeasy takes on Perry's Lower East Side dive rules by a pinball machine and cheap beer.
