Plot Synopsis
BERLIN STATION is a one-hour spy series that follows Daniel Miller, who has just arrived at the CIA foreign station in Berlin, Germany. Miller has a clandestine mission: to uncover the source of a leak who has supplied information to a now-famous whistleblower named "Thomas Shaw." Guided by jaded veteran Hector DeJean, Daniel learns to contend with the rough-and-tumble world of the field agent -- agent-running, deception, the dangers and moral compromises. As he dives deeper into the German capital's hall of mirrors and uncovers the threads of a conspiracy that leads back to Washington, Daniel wonders: Can anyone ever be the same after a posting to Berlin? Season 2 of BERLIN STATION premieres on Sunday, October 15, 2017 from 9-11pm ET/PT on EPIX, opening in the thick of a New World Order that has taken root and is steadily deepening. In the wake of the Far Right tide sweeping across continental Europe, Germany finds itself on the precipice of a pivotal election. Ashley Judd joins the cast as a series regular for a 10-episode second season, which began production in Berlin on March 31. As previously announced, also new to the cast this season is Keke Palmer as a series regular, April Lewis. Judd will play BB Yates, Berlin's disarming new Chief of Station, nicknamed "The Station Whisperer" for her itinerant work in the field shoring up CIA stations in moral or corporate disrepair. Part company loyalist and part maverick, BB toes a dangerous line between serving those above her and empowering those below her. Always a contradiction, she arrives in Berlin to defy expectations and breathe new life into the troubled CIA station she now runs. Returning cast includes: Richard Armitage, Rhys Ifans, Richard Jenkins, Michelle Forbes and Leland Orser. On Sunday, December 2, 2018 at 9pm ET/PT, EPIX premiered the third season of BERLIN STATION. Season 3 takes place over the course of 11 days in Eastern and Central Europe as Chief of Station Valerie Edwards guides her team through the high-stakes relationship between Russia, the United States and its vulnerable NATO allies. Is the Kremlin involved in any foul play that could upend a thinly-held World Order? Returning stars include: Richard Armitage as Daniel Miller, Michelle Forbes as Chief of Station Valerie Edwards, Rhys Ifans as Hector Dejean, Richard Jenkins as Steven Frost, Leland Orser as Robert Kirsch, Ashley Judd as BB Yates and Keke Palmer as April Lewis. New to the cast this season in a series regular role is Ismael Cruz Cordova who joins as the unpredictable CIA agent Rafael Torres. In a recurring guest role, James Cromwell plays Gilbert Dorn, a former CIA legend put out to pasture who appears on a podcast revealing information about past missions.
