Plot Synopsis

This series highlights some of the best matches of the Pride Fighting Championship. Pride was a mixed martial arts (MMA) organization founded in Japan in 1997 and has held more than 60 MMA events during its 10 years of operation, featuring the world's fiercest fighters in competitions of strength and honor. MMA uses an intense mix of combative sports such as wrestling, boxing, jiu-jitsu, karate, judo, kickboxing and others. The first episode highlights the following fights: Wanderlei Silva vs. Rampage Jackson; Anderson Silva vs. Carlos Newton; Chuck Liddell vs. Alistair Overeem; Shogun Rua vs. Kevin Randleman.
