Plot Synopsis

Executive produced by Russell Simmons, THE BIG LEAF is a half-hour comedy series that follows Christopher Greene, the manager of a weed dispensary in Venice, CA, and Cousin Curtis, a recent prison parolee, who inherits half the operation and becomes its head chef. Now, the brothers must keep the operation in the green as it focuses on edible products. On June 24, 2014, the show's pilot was screened during the All Def Comedy Live Show during festivities leading up to the 2014 BET AWARDS, and was later released on the All Def Digital YouTube channel. TV One debuted the linear premiere of the pilot on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at 11pm ET/PT -- two weeks after it was originally scheduled -- and, depending on the number of viewers and audience reception, the cable channel will decide whether to order additional episodes.
