Plot Synopsis
With the help of legal analyst Beth Karas, THE BLACK WIDOWER: THE SIX WIVES OF THOMAS RANDOLPH is a three-part documentary that explores whether Thomas Randolph is a calculated killer driven by greed, or, as he claims, just unlucky in love. Randolph has been married six times, and four of his wives are dead. Several died under mysterious circumstances, leading some to call the Nevada man a "Black Widower." What is the truth? All three episodes of THE BLACK WIDOWER: THE SIX WIVES OF THOMAS RANDOL premiered on Monday, July 15, 2024 from 9pm-Midnight ET/PT on Investigation Discovery:
"Luckiest Son of a Gun" (9pm): After the shooting of Sharon Causse in an apparent home invasion, detectives question who committed the crime: her handyman or her husband, Thomas Randolph; as police dig, they discover Sharon's murder wasn't the only death surrounding Randolph.
"Web of Wives" (10pm): Thomas Randolph has a dark past: he's been married six times, and four of his wives are dead; the families of his late wives, and the wives that survived him paint a dark portrait of his history in the lead up to his trial.
"This Is War" (11pm): Over eight years, the infamous Black Widower Thomas Randolph stands trial for the murder of his wife and her handyman; the victims' families are ready to see justice served, but a surprise ruling from the Nevada Supreme Court threatens everything.
