Plot Synopsis

Inspired by the film of the same name, BLINDSPOTTING is a half-hour dramedy series that picks up the story six months after ending of the film. Created and executive produced by Rafael Casal (who both also starred in the film in addition to writing and producing it), this series centers on Ashley, who is nipping at the heels of a middle-class life in Oakland until Miles, her partner of 12 years and father of their son Sean, is suddenly incarcerated, leaving her to navigate a chaotic and humorous existential crisis when she is forced to move in with Miles' mother Rainey and half-sister Trish, who might be wilder than he is.

The second season of BLINDSPOTTING debuted with a special two-episode premiere on Friday, April 14, 2023 at 9pm ET/PT on Starz. Season 2 picks up nine months after Ashley and Miles's prison nuptials in the Season 1 finale, Ashley is doing backflips to try and raise their son on her own. She is reaching her breaking point and is taking it out on everyone around her. Miles is adjusting to life on the inside and counting down the days before their first family visitation weekend at San Quentin. Rainey is doing her best to make Ashley and Sean feel at home while trying to find a way to stay connected to her son behind bars, but Ashley holds all the cards. Trish's new business is flourishing, but she is dealing with jealousy issues now that her best friend and business partner Jacque is dating Cuddie. Janelle is growing frustrated with Ashley's constant need for support and has begun to miss her life back in Bali. And then of course Earl, fresh out of prison himself for unintentionally breaking his probation, has moved out of Nancy's house and is trying to re-establish a relationship with his own family, and his past. Welcome back to the ordeal.

On Friday, May 26, 2023 at 9pm ET/PT, Starz premiered "Return to Ithaca," the Season 2 finale of BLINDSPOTTING. Ashley doesn't know who to turn to when she is ostracized by the entire Turner family; Trish and Jacque must deal with the fallout of her revelation at Meatfest; Earl receives a surprising call from his father.
