A BRUTAL PACT: THE MURDER OF DANIELLA PEREZ is a five-part documentary series that investigates the brutal 1992 murder of rising, young Brazilian telenovela star Daniella Perez at the hands of a jealous co-star. In 1992, the disappearance of Perez prompts a frantic search through the streets of Rio de Janeiro. Then, after locating her body, police narrow in on a suspect with close ties to the late actress. In the days following Daniella's death, the investigation -- and an all-out media frenzy -- closes in on the young actress' on-screen love interest, actor Guilherme de Padua. A BRUTAL PACT: THE MURDER OF DANIELLA PEREZ debuted on Thursday, July 21, 2022, as HBO Max released the first two episodes.
