Plot Synopsis

Best friends Bucket and Skinner are two surfer dudes who navigate high school and everyday life in their never-ending quest for awesomeness in a Southern California beach town. These two BFFs are exact opposites -- Bucket is analytical, while Skinner is zen and care free -- but these two inseparable friends share the same goals in life: stay friends forever; always be near a beach; and, when they're not at a beach, find a way to get to one. Bucket is a freshman in high school who spends his days catching waves and working part-time with Skinner, and he's always trying to come up with epic ways to impress Kelly, his forever crush. Skinner has a major knack for getting himself into sticky situations, usually by slacking off, searching for the next adventure or looking for a surfette. Their hot-headed archrival at school is Aloe, who is always there to ruin their plans, usually trying to cause Bucket and Skinner major embarrassment. Kelly, Bucket's crush, has an epic rep to keep up at school, works part time and has to deal with her younger sister; so she usually doesn't even notice Bucket's crush-worthy schemes. Kelly's sister Piper is a classic overachieving middle schooler who uses her smarts to come up with sneaky tricks to get her way.
