Plot Synopsis

Directed by Ben Feldman, BUG OUT is a four-part documentary series that explores one of the most bizarre crimes in recent history: The theft of $50,000 worth of living bugs from the Philadelphia Insectarium. As detectives with the Philadelphia Police Department investigate, they find themselves entering an unknown and shadowy subculture. Discovering that the Insectarium may not be the wholesome family museum it appears to be, viewers will be taken into a criminal underworld like no other. This series dives into this whodunnit through exclusive interviews with insect collectors, bug smugglers, and the law enforcement agencies charged with looking into this case. All four episodes of BUG OUT dropped on Friday, March 4, 2022 on IMDb TV.
