BUYING THE BEACH is a reality series that follows people looking for homes near the ocean, on a lake, or on a canal of the United States coastline -- from Alaska to California and from Texas to Maine. Whether they're looking for gorgeous beach retreats or waterfront homes, these home buyers weigh the pros and cons of each home and then decide which property meets their needs, budgets, and dreams. Each 30-minute episode features an agent showing three properties, one of which is selected by a different set of house seekers, including: Chicago natives Howard and Cyndy Livingston, who are looking for the ultimate dream property on a remote island in the Florida Keys; Delaware natives Mike and Emily, who have their sights set on a a budget-friendly home in the Florida Keys; and many more home buyers seeking an affordable piece of paradise.
