Plot Synopsis

CABIN IN THE WOODS is a one-hour docuseries that tells the true stories of ghastly, sometimes convoluted crimes that take place in remote cabins around the country...and for good reason: they allow those with evil intentions to carry out the most heinous of acts in peace and quiet away from prying eyes and ears. Combining hard-hitting investigative elements with spine-tingling thrills and chills, this true-crime-meets-true-horror series features the most terrifying crimes ever committed in isolated and otherwise picturesque cabin dwellings. Episodes include:

"Desert Manhunt" (Monday, September 9, 2024 at 10pm): A violent drifter terrorizes cabin owners in a remote California desert.

"Murder on Mt. Baldy" (Monday, September 16, 2024 at 10pm): Tragedy strikes a mountain community when a beloved resident, 71-year-old Jack Irwin, disappears without a trace; strange crimes plague the old cabin where Jack used to live, and a compelling wiretap operation.

"Cabin 13" (Monday, September 23, 2024 at 10pm): A beloved pastor and his wife rent a cabin to get away from it all but a vicious attack leaves one deceased and the other nursing their wounds at the hospital; an investigation into the couple's past reveals a laundry list of suspects and misdeeds.

"Alone at the Cabin" (Monday, October 7, 2024 at 10pm): A father's desperate search for his daughter leads him to an abandoned cabin in rural Canada; a surprise witness helps expose unspeakable crimes.

"Five Days in Hell" (Monday, October 14, 2024 at 10pm): A young woman cozies up with her new boyfriend at his remote cabin but has no idea who he really is or what he's done; he reveals his violent side and she must dig deep in the hopes of surviving every hellish scenario he throws at her.
