Plot Synopsis

Using re-creations and first-person interviews with the victims' friends and families, CAMPUS NIGHTMARES is a one-hour series that chronicles real-life true stories of American college students whose lives ended too early. From dorm-room encounters gone awry to teacher-student relationships gone bad, each 60-minute episode documents the story of a different crime, including: a college student at UNCW, who tries to end the relationship with her boyfriend -- instead, he begins to stalk her; Joseph Mesa Jr., who was charged with the deaths of two classmates -- Eric Plunkett and Benjamin Varner -- in the freshman dorm at Gallaudet University during the 2000-2001 school year; and many more shocking campus crimes.
