CARMEL: WHO KILLED MARIA MARTA? is a one-hour true-crime documentary series that explores the circumstances surrounding the death of Maria Marta Garcia Belsunce, one of the most controversial criminal cases in Argentina. Maria Marta is found dead in her bathtub, with a puddle of blood nearby. Her husband theorizes she had an accident, but an autopsy tells a different story. Why was Maria Marta killed? Did she interrupt a burglar? Did she discover that the charities she worked for had ties to shady business? On Thursday, November 5, 2020 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released the entire four-episode series.
