Plot Synopsis

Hosted by author and Hollywood insider AJ Benza, CASE CLOSED tackles the many unanswered questions surrounding tragedies and mysteries involving celebrities. Benza examines the prevalent theories tied to each story presenting new and old evidence as well as first-person accounts from family members, eyewitnesses and experts with the aim of uncovering the truth and closing the case. In the series opener, Benza chronicles the rumor-filled death of Princess Diana, who was tragically killed with Egyptian filmmaker Dodi Al-Fayed while attempting to flee paparazzi in Paris. The driver, who was also killed, tested positive for alcohol in his system. Immediately, the world wanted answers, and now Benza tries to uncover them. Later in the season, Benza also explores the mysterious deaths of Brittany Murphy, Tupac and Biggie, Bob Crane, Marilyn Monroe, and Elvis in addition to investigating the series of perplexing -- and even fatal -- events that plagued the Poltergeist movie franchise.
