Plot Synopsis

Created by showrunner Balwinder Singh Janjua, CAT is one-hour series and crime thriller that's set against the backdrop of the Punjab hinterlands. Living under an alias, a former police informant is summoned to infiltrate a major drug empire but uncovers a dangerous connection to his dark past. The series opens shortly after his brother is arrested in a drug bust, and a desperate Gurnaam Singh agrees to work with police. After infiltrating Madam Aulakh's inner circle, he goes after Mukhtiyaar Singh, a major drug supplier. Then, Gurnaam leaks information to police while staying close to Laadi, but a police raid threatens to jeopardize his cover. The entire eight-episode first season of CAT dropped on Friday, December 9, 2022 on Netflix.
