Hosted by Monica, this one-hour true-crime docuseries explores celebrity cases where notoriety and fame turn fatal. Each 60-minute episode unravels the mystery and the motives behind a different crime, revealing a dark side to being in the public eye when betrayal, jealousy, and greed lead to tragedy. Cases featured in the eight-episode first season, titled INFAMY: WHEN FAME TURNS DEADLY, include the murder of NBA player Lorenzen Wright and the investigation of his shocking death; hip-hop artist on the rise Young Greatness, who was gunned down under mysterious circumstances in his hometown of New Orleans; a runway model found dead at the bottom of a swimming pool; and a popular Chicago radio personality targeted by someone nobody could expect.

On Monday, March 20, 2023 at 9pm ET/PT, this series returned for its second season with a new title: CELEBRITY TRUE CRIME STORY. In the season opener, "Jam Master Jay - It's Tricky," chronicles when hip hop icon Jam Master Jay was killed inside his Hollis, Queens recording studio, and how the case went cold...for nearly 2 decades. But an explosive federal indictment eighteen years later suggests Jay's killers were much closer than anyone suspected.

On Monday, May 8, 2023 from 9-11pm ET/PT, VH1 premiered back-to-back episodes to close out the series' second season:

"Melissa James: Vegas Fitness - Up in Flames" (9pm): A mysterious car fire in the Nevada desert leads detectives on a wild ride deep into the world of bodybuilding, recreational drugs and a love triangle that culminates in a cross-country manhunt.

"Mac Phipps - No Limit, No Justice" (10pm): Mac Phipps spent 21 years behind bars for a murder he claims he didn't commit; the circumstances that led to this rapper, father and family man being robbed of his freedom for more than two decades.
