Plot Synopsis

CITY GIRL DIARIES is a reality series that follows a group of thirtysomething best friends living in New York City, as they balance their dating mishaps, tumultuous love lives and demanding careers. Despite their drastically different personalities and busy professions, this group of women navigates old friends, new beginnings and awkward situations. The cast includes: Leigh Rossini, a no-holds-bar publicist running the hippest salon in Manhattan, who has just given birth and is learning how to juggle being a loving mom, a supportive girlfriend and a driven businesswoman; Marianne Garvey, the Queen Bee of New York gossip as a columnist at the "New York Daily News," who began her friendship with Leigh after a random encounter while bicycling across the Brooklyn Bridge; Leila Shams, a fashion designer and design director of Buffalo David Bitton, who grew up with Leigh and is still her best friend 20 years later; Kelly Brady, a publicity maven at her own PR firm, whose tight bond with Marianne formed years ago when she pitched stories to Marianne at her former job at Page Six; and Raina Seitel-Gittlin, an Emmy-award winning journalist and newly divorced single mother, who became friends with Leigh after years of getting her hair done at Louis Licari Salon.
