Plot Synopsis
Based on Nacho Carretero's nonfiction best-selling book, "Farina," COCAINE COAST is set in 1980s Galicia, Spain, where Sito Minanco, a young fisherman with a thirst for wealth and social respect, becomes a prosperous cocaine smuggler by providing Latin American suppliers with a European entry point. On Friday, August 3, 2018 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released all 10 episodes of COCAINE COAST, with each 70-minute installment focused on a different year during the 1981-1990 time period.
