Plot Synopsis

Executive produced by LL Cool J and Chris O'Donnell, COME DANCE WITH ME is a family dance competition series that features duos from across America -- a young dancer and their untrained family partner -- vying for the the $100,000 grand prize. Each young dancer invites one untrained family member who has supported their dance dreams to be their partner -- this time for a chance to strut their stuff for a grand prize. Those untrained family members include a preschool teacher, a doctor, a social worker and an engineer, among others, who have left their day jobs behind to lace up their dance shoes and learn endless choreography all for their children.

Philip Lawrence hosts the series, which features music from popular artists across all genres. Judges of the competition include dancer and actress Jenna Dewan; professional dancer Dexter Mayfield; and hip hop choreographer Tricia Miranda. Throughout the season, each duo learns and performs different styles of dance, from hip hop and ballroom to contemporary and theatrical, among others. At the end of the season, only one team will win the $100,000 grand prize. The 12 family dance duos are:

Team Ava and John (Hometown: Santa Clarita, CA) -- Child: Ava (age 10); Dad: John (drummer, Limp Bizkit)

Team Avery and Jack (Phoenix, AZ) -- Child: Avery (age 11); Dad: Jack (network engineer)

Team Connor and Nadya (Ogden, UT) -- Child: Connor (age 13); Mom: Nadya (doctor)

Team Emelyn and Nicole (Las Vegas, NV) -- Child: Emelyn (age 12); Mom: Nicole (social media consultant)

Team Emily and Anna (Woodland Hills, CA) -- Child: Emily (age 12); Mom: Anna (interior designer)

Team Kamryn and Adriana (Phoenix, AZ) -- Child: Kamryn (age 9); Mom: Adriana (dance mom)

Team Kennedy and Justin (Stafford, VA) -- Child: Kennedy (age 10); Dad: Justin (public information officer)

Team Lucas and Carolina (La Mirada, CA) -- Child: Lucas (age 13); Mom: Carolina (retired educator)

Team Maceo and Albert (Santa Clarita, CA) -- Child: Maceo (age 14); Dad: Albert (program engineer)

Team Mia and Crystal (Lexington, SC) -- Child: Mia (age 10); Mom: Crystal (preschool teacher)

Team Noah and Sylvia (Santa Clarita, CA) -- Child: Noah (age 15); Mom: Sylvia (account executive)

On Friday, June 24, 2022 at 8pm ET/PT, CBS premiered "Grand Finale," the finale of COME DANCE WITH ME. The three final kid-parent dance teams -- Avery & Jack Khoundara, Kennedy Rae & Justin Thompson, and Emily & Anna Tatoosi -- perform encores of the judges' favorite routines from the season and a new routine with the most difficult choreography yet, with the winning duo taking home the $100,000 grand prize.
