Plot Synopsis

In anticipation of its new series, CRIKEY! IT'S THE IRWINS, Animal Planet debuted THE CROCODILE HUNTER: BEST OF STEVE IRWIN, a series of six of the best episodes of THE CROCODILE HUNTER with exclusive commentary from Terri Irwin and Wes Mannion. These special episodes air each night at 8pm ET/PT from Monday, October 22 through Saturday, October 27, 2018:

"Steve and the Dragon" (Monday, October 22 @ 8pm): Steve Irwin comes face-to-face with the largest living lizard in the world -- the Komodo dragon, on the remote islans of Indonesia. These huge powerful reptiles seem lazy and docile -- most of the time.

"Crocodiles of the Revolution" (Tuesday, October 23 @ 8pm): In East Timor, the Australian Army discovered two crocodiles living in appalling conditions. Steve and his team from Australia Zoo are called to undertake a death-defying crocodile rescue.

"Surfing Snakes" (Wednesday, October 24 @ 8pm): Steve and Wes find themselves island hopping around Indonesia, and have chance encounters with lizards, venomous snakes, and a group of playful monkeys.

"Reptiles of the Lost Continent" (Thursday, October 25 @ 8pm): Steve Irwin explores Madagascar's rugged terrain and underground rivers, meeting the chameleons, snakes, and crocodiles that roam the island nation's wilds.

"Casper the White Crocodile" (Friday, October 26 @ 8pm): The Australia Zoo team is relocating eleven of their spunkiest crocodiles into their new exhibit areas. However, Capser, the latest edition, might provide to be Steve's biggest challenge yet.

"Search for the Super Croc" (Saturday, October 27 @ 8pm): The Australia Zoo teams up with Dr. Mark Read in a mission to capture and tag nine massive crocs to track their migration across Australia. But will they find the elusive super croc?
