Plot Synopsis

Lifeguards protect and rescue beachgoers at Muriwai, better known to New Zealand locals as Danger Beach. Whether they're preparing for a busy Summer season that includes Christmas and New Year's Eve, rescuing a 14-year-old boy who is swept off the rocks at Maori Bay, or performing a mass rescue caused by the notorious Muriwai rips, these volunteer life-saving heroes are willing to risk their own lives to save others. Planet Green aired the U.S. premiere of the series on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 with back-to-back episodes at 10pm ET.
