Plot Synopsis

Based on the bestselling book series of the same name, DASH & LILY is a half-hour dramedy series that follows cynical Dash and sunny Lily during Christmas, as they trade messages and dares in a red notebook they pass back and forth around New York City. Dash hates Christmas, but his Yuletide spirits brighten when he finds a mysterious red notebook filled with clues hidden at his favorite bookstore. Lily loves Christmas, but the prospect of a lonely holiday inspires her to connect with Dash through the notebook -- and send him on another dare. After Lily shares the memory of her worst Christmas ever, Dash devises a late-night challenge that pushes her far outside her comfort zone. Their back-and-forth continues through New Year's Eve, when Dash does some soul-searching and comes to a decision about Lily, unaware that her life is about to change. On Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released the eight-episode first season of DASH & LILY.
