Plot Synopsis

Using re-enactments, first-person interviews and archival photographs, DEADLY WIVES documents the complex, real-life stories about women who murdered their husbands. Each 60-minute episode features one or two different wives who weren't who they appeared to be, including: Teresa Stone, a traditional wife and mother of two in Independence, Missouri, who remained surprisingly calm after her husband Randy -- a deacon, bus driver, and devoted church member -- was found shot and killed in his office; 30-year-old Ann Miller of Raleigh, NC, who was identified as her husband's killer years after he died suddenly of mysterious causes; Chris Mason, who took her elderly husband, Jim, to the pool at her apartment complex for a little exercise -- but when he ended up dead, investigators discovered the shocking truth about Chris' past; Elisa McNabney, whose husband Larry, known as 'The Marlboro Man' because of his persona on TV commercials, went missing and who continued to run his law office with the help of a bright young college student named Sarah Dutra -- until one day when Sarah went missing, too; and many more murderous wives who shocked everyone with their deadly vows.
