Plot Synopsis

In this spin-off of DEAL OR NO DEAL that's executive produced by Howie Mandel and hosted by Joe Manganiello, teams of players are transported to the banker's private island, where there are twists behind every palm tree and over 100 cases hidden with millions of dollars split among them, which teams must retrieve so that they can play against the banker. In each episode, players vie to get their hands on the highest-value briefcase for a chance to gain immunity and choose a fellow player to enter The Temple, where they must play a high-stakes game of Deal or No Deal. The devious Banker is always watching and will raise the stakes with tests of strategy and greed. At the end of the season, the last player standing will face the Banker to potentially win the biggest prize in DEAL OR NO DEAL history. Ben Crofchick and Kamari Love are the Banker's assistants. On Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 8:30pm ET, NBC premiered a half-hour sneak peek of DEAL OR NO DEAL ISLAND, which debuted with a 90-minute supersized first episode on Monday, February 26, 2024 from 9:30-11pm ET/PT. Subsequent episodes aired on its regularly scheduled timeslot starting on Monday, March 4 at 10pm. Season 1 found winner Jordan Fowler playing for $13,857,000.

Season 2 of DEAL OR NO DEAL ISLAND debuted on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 from 8-10pm ET/PT on NBC. Once again, briefcases are hidden around the island with more than $200 million in prize money split between them. In each episode, players compete in daring challenges to secure the briefcases that will be used in that night's game of "Deal or No Deal." The player who snags the highest-value case gains immunity and gets to choose a fellow player to enter "The Temple." The chosen competitor must then play a classic game of "Deal or No Deal." If the player makes a "bad deal," they are immediately eliminated. If the player makes a "good deal," the power is in their hands and they get to select who to eliminate. The winnings from each game of "Deal or No Deal" will be added to a group pot that will grow to an exponential value throughout the season. However, the devious Banker is always watching and raising the stakes with tests of strategy and greed. Joe Manganiello acts as an intermediary between the Banker and contestants by overseeing gameplay and helping to navigate them through tough, life-changing decisions.
