Plot Synopsis

Directed by Jon Kasbe, THE DEEP END is a four-part documentary that goes inside the world of one of today's most controversial spiritual teachers and her dedicated followers. Filmed over three years with unprecedented access, it is an unflinching portrayal of the incredible lengths people will go to in their search for connection. Episodes include:

"The Lost Toys" (Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at 10pm): At a time when people are longing for connection, a leading spiritual teacher and her millions of devoted followers are on a mission to end human suffering, but at a cost.

"The Safe Place" (Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at 10pm): Facing a barrage of criticism from the outside world, the Inner Circle hires a private investigator to disprove the allegations as a new member enters its fold.

"The Carousel" (Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at 10pm): Tensions rise within the community, as the leader wrestles with how to heal her troubled followers.

"The Adversary" (Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at 10pm): Fractures deepen within the Inner Circle as revelations come to light and difficult decisions must be made.
