Plot Synopsis

In this half-hour anime series, Akira fights for humanity as Devilman -- a demon with the soul of a human -- while his best friend, Ryo, obscures his ultimate intentions while leading Akira into a brutal, degenerate war against evil. The series opens with Ryo, a young professor returning from research abroad, taking his pure-hearted, crybaby friend Akira to a decadent party, where things turn demonic. After the party, Akira has become a completely different man -- he's stronger and hungrier than ever before. He seeks out Ryo for answers. On Friday, January 5, 2018 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released all 10 episodes of DEVILMAN CRYBABY, a Japanese-language series.
