Plot Synopsis

DOES MURDER SLEEP? is a one-hour docuseries that chronicles crimes that occur when a few -- or even all -- key characters are fast asleep. These stories tap into the primal fear, present since childhood, of what happens once we shut our eyes. In the series opener, "Deadly Awakening," Ben Oxley is shot in the head at point-blank range while sleeping in bed in February 2008. His wife becomes the focus of the police investigation, but it will take over two years before investigators bring the actual killer to justice.
