Plot Synopsis

Contestants compete for cash and prizes on top of a 10-story building in downtown Los Angeles, where they try to beat the clock by quickly answering a series of trivia questions. The program uses the largest conveyor belt ever seen on TV, and a pile of cash and fabricated facsimiles of all prizes are placed on it. The conveyor belt starts to move at the beginning of each round, and players must correctly answer questions before their prizes and cash go over the edge of the building, falling 100 feet onto the street below. After each successful round, the player can leave with the prizes and cash already won or risk them all again by continuing their quest for the $1 million grand prize. In the $1 million seventh round, the player is placed on the conveyor belt holding the cash and must answer 10 questions correctly before being pushed off the edge of the building when the clock expires. Don't worry, the player is wearing a decelerator harness to soften the fall. During the early category rounds, contestants can backup the conveyor belt -- essentially adding more time to the clock -- by placing a personal possession or a friend on the belt.
