Plot Synopsis

Hosted by Michael Ian Black and executive produced by Nigel Lythgoe and Gail Berman, EASIEST GAME SHOW EVER is a half-hour weekly game show that puts a new twist on the true-or-false concept, giving contestants the opportunity to win up to $100,000 cash per episode. In each 30-minute episode, a pair of contestants work together to answer true or false to 20 pop culture facts. These statements test their instinctual knowledge of entertainment, food, fashion and culture. TRUE or FALSE: Steven Spielberg created STAR WARS as a college project?; Grumpy Cat is getting her own wax statue at Madame Tussauds?; Jon Hamm was a high school drama teacher? After the team's initial responses, Michael spends the rest of the show revealing additional fun facts to the contestants, giving them the opportunity to doubt their initial responses and even change their answers. On consecutive Tuesdays -- January 12 & 19, 2016 -- at 11pm ET/PT, Pop TV debuted a sneak-peek episode of EASIEST GAME SHOW EVER each night, with back-to-back episodes scheduled for the official series premiere on Friday, January 22, 2016 from 9-10pm ET/PT.
