Plot Synopsis

East Los High is not your typical high school. Dance, sex, romance, and mystery are at the heart of this inner city school in East LA. In Season 1, two teenage cousins -- Jessie, a 16-year-old virgin, and Maya, a troubled runaway with a violent past -- fall in love with Jacob, a popular football player. From this forbidden love triangle, Maya, Jessie and Jacob, along with their close friends, must face true-to-life decisions during a single dramatic and breath-taking year that will mark their lives forever. EAST LOS HIGH returned for its second season on Wednesday, July 9, 2014, when Hulu released 12 episodes of Season 2, which opened with a new school year and tensions flaring at East Los High after a popular student goes missing. Plus, Ceci returns to coach the Bomb Squad, which competes against its biggest rival while dance captain Camila and her sister Gina each deal with shocking revelations. On Wednesday, July 15, 2015, Hulu released the entire 12-episode third season of EAST LOS HIGH, with the season's first two episodes available for free. In the season opener, "La Virgen De East Los High," The Bomb Squad dancers throw Ceci a wild bachelorette party. Later in the season, an old frenemy threatens the Bomb Squad's chances of winning Regionals. Maya has a big surprise for Jacob, and while they make major plans, Tiffany throws a hot pool party. Plus, The Bomb Squad goes co-ed, but has difficulties attracting male dancers. EAST LOS HIGH returned for its fourth season on Friday, July 15, 2016, as Hulu released the 12-episode new season at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT. The new season opens with graduation day in "Orange Is the New Brown." As the Bomb Squad seniors prepare to walk onstage, Eddie is mistreated in a detention center and the dance team rallies to get him released. An unexpected wedding proposal throws everyone by surprise.

On Friday, November 1, 2017 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Hulu released EAST LOS HIGH'S "Final Event," a 90-minute series finale. Season 4 ended with a shocking cliffhanger, and this program picks up eight months later, as the crew prepares to leave high school behind and maybe even East LA on a journey of self-discovery while learning the true meaning of love, family and friendship.
