Plot Synopsis

Do you know your carbon footprint? Recycle? Use solar energy? You're doing everything you can, but you probably still have a significant impact on the environment. And you don't even know it. That's the whole point of "Eco-Trip." This series documents the ecological impact of everyday products by following their life cycles from the factory to the landfill. Learn about the environmental, social and health effects of products, such as cotton t-shirts, paper napkins, cell phones, and salmon. This series premieres the day before Earth Day 2009.
