Plot Synopsis

Each 22-minute episode of EMERIL TAILGATES profiles a different football-obsessed city and a home-team super fan, who is whisked away to Emeril Lagasse's New Orleans kitchen. Once there, Emeril show the fan how to add his signature "kick" to a regional dish inspired by tailgate fare from that city -- Buffalo wings, Kansas City BBQ, and more. EMERIL TAILGATES premiered on Thursday, September 8, 2022, as Roku Channel released the first episodes. A new installment drops each Thursday during the NFL season. In the season opener, "Emeril Tailgates Pittsburgh," Pittsburgh Steelers superfan Brad Younkin joins us as we take inspiration from his city's Polish roots to create two crowd-pleasing sausage dishes on the grill.

The entire eight-episode second season of EMERIL TAILGATES dropped on Thursday, September 7, 2023 on The Roku Channel. New teams and new superfans touch down in New Orleans for Season 2. Each 22-minute installment profiles a different city, a different superfan, and offer up creative new twists on their favorite tailgate treats. Season 2 features fans of: Houston Texans, Baltimore Ravens, Los Angeles Rams, Seattle Seahakws, New York Jets, Cincinnati Bengals, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Washington Commanders.
