What would you do to escape a bad situation? A killer's cellar? A relationship gone wrong? A Category 4 hurricane? Each one-hour episode of "Escaped" highlights the true story of an ordinary person who escaped danger and lived to tell about it. From their perspective. The series uses escapee interviews, detailed recreations and expert commentary to tell stories of freedom for: Josefina Rivera, who broke away from her killer's cellar; Mildred Muhammad -- the former wife of the DC Sniper -- who left and divorced her husband after enduring his lies and infidelities.
