Plot Synopsis

THE FIRST 48: SHOCKING INTERROGATIONS is a one-hour docuseries that features new footage and detective interviews for cases previously profiled on THE FIRST 48. A&E premiered the series on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 from 9-11pm ET/PT, debuting back-to-back enhanced episodes:

"Cruel Summer" (9pm): In New Orleans, when gunmen open fire on a porch -- shooting four children and three adults -- Detective Tim Bender turns to the community to help solve the case.

"The Ties That Bind" (10pm): When a man is gunned down with an AK-47 in his home, Atlanta Detective Kevin Leonpacher discovers the victim's wife holds a dark secret that could tear their family apart.
